One minute you are bringing this precious new family member into your home, the next they are looking at you with old eyes that have brought you more love than you can say. Your beloved pets deserve gorgeous images at any age that you are proud to display and treasure long after they leave you.

Worried your dog isn’t perfect model material? DON’T!! Whether your dog was the obedience school valedictorian or got kicked out for the third time, we work together to get the perfect shot. I have worked with rambunctious puppies and deaf seniors alike – sessions are structured so that your dog gets to be a DOG, full of positive reinforcement and play.

How it works…

Step 1 - Book your free consultation

We start by connecting to discuss details about you and your wonderful pet and answer any questions you have.

During this consultation, we will talk about how you would like your images displayed and choose your session type. You can then reserve your date and pay the session reservation fee. Sessions include 2 dogs of the same household – $25 per dog for additional.

Step 2 – Session Day!!

The day of the session, you just show up with your furry best friend and have FUN! Sessions take place outside in a variety of settings where your dog can be happy doing dog things. She doesn’t have to pose perfectly or follow every command – sometimes those candid moments are the most cherished! I will ask you to hold the leash, or toss a ball while you get to laugh at all of the crazy noises I make to get his attention.

It is not required, but I suggest to all pet parents that they include themselves in a couple of images – I promise, you won’t regret it.

Step 3 – The Reveal and choose your artwork

About two weeks after your session is complete, we will meet for the Reveal! You will have a chance to view your images and you select how you would like to have them displayed.

Whether you choose a unique fine art print with torn edge, stunning wall acrylic or metal print, or a framed collection, you’ll find options to suit your style and budget.

Step 4 – Hang your artwork and enjoy!

All artwork is shipped directly to me so that I may inspect it for supreme quality. I will let you know when your art is ready to be picked up (or I can deliver it to you if within local range). Artwork comes with a special care guide so that you can keep it looking amazing for years to come!

Your session reservation fee converts 100% to product credit and I have special discounts for packages of items…the more you buy, the more you save! Packages start at $899 and most pet parents spend $1000 or more on artwork.

Frequently Asked Questions

My dog can't be off leash - can I still get great photos?

Of course you can! While allowing dogs off leash may make the shoot a bit easier at times, sometimes having the leash is more beneficial so they can’t just run off and do doggy things as they please. Safety for all is VERY important to me! I have plenty of experience removing leashes and other distractions from the images in post processing, so rest assured the leash won’t be a problem!

Can I be in the photos?

Yes! I love capturing the love you have with your dog! Since I primarily photograph animals, I will focus on your furry friend and show the relationship you share whether you prefer to be in background or you would prefer a portrait. If you would like a more traditional family photo that includes your dog, let me know and I can help point you towards some great local family photographers!!

I've never had a photo session before. What should I expect?

I’m so honored to be the first! My goal is to make the entire process fun and easy for all involved. Once you start by contacting me (use the Inquire here button), I will reach out to you within 24 hours to schedule your consultation. During the consultation (which can be in person or via telephone), I will ask you a few questions about your dog, how you plan to use the images, and find out more about his or her personalty. I will explain the booking process including the reservation fee which converts to product credit, how the actual shoot will go, and the reveal session in which I will show you your images and you can decide which ones you love most! This is the most fun! After you choose your images and your products, I will process your payment and then I get to work making sure they are edited to bring out the very best in your dog and create the gorgeous artwork you desire.

How do you choose a location?

Location choice depends on the type of images you are looking for and the time of day you would like to book your session. The best images come from early morning or late evening when the light is the best! I have a few favorite locations I love in and around the Indianapolis area, however if you have a specific location in mind just let me know during your consultation and I will scout it out! This will allow me to look for any particular pros/cons and I can see if any additional permits are needed. Not all locations will work for sessions due to bad lighting or legal roadblocks, but our city is full of amazing places that are perfect!

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes I do – you can choose between 3 or 6 month payment plans and you will receive your products shortly after your last payment has been processed. The sooner the balance is paid, the sooner you get to enjoy your ART!

Do you offer discounts or gift certificates?

Your session fee converts entirely to product credit. While choosing which products you would like, I offer collections that will give you 25% off the total order! That can add up to great savings AND you get more products!! I do offer gift certificates for either the session fee OR any amount over that, however I recommend speaking with your loved one in advance of the certificate purchase to make sure they know what is involved with the session.
